Action Commands

Action commands are those that can be used freely on the field such as enhanced movement, defense and reprisal capabilities. They can be found in chests, gained after completing certain events in the story or melded. Once you obtain High Jump, Doubleflight and Air Slide, be sure to visit past worlds to reach the places you couldn't the first time!

Movement

Jump: Press O to jump.
    → One of the default commands

High Jump: Press O to jump higher than normal.
    → After escaping Maleficent's castle with Prince Philip

Cartwheel: Hold the analog stick and press ■ to quickly handspring out of harm's way.
    → One of the default commands

Firewheel: Hold the analog stick and press ■ to cloak yourself in fire and quickly handspring out of harm's way. Enemies take damage on contact.
    → Cartwheel (LV4) + Firaga (LV4)
    → Cartwheel (LV4) + Fire Surge (LV3)
    → Cartwheel (LV4) + Fission Firaga (LV4)

Air Slide: Press ■ in midair for a burst of speed.
    → One of the default commands

Ice Slide: Press ■ in midair to cloak yourself in ice.
    → Air Slide (LV4) + Blizzaga (LV4)
    → Air Slide (LV4) + Blizzard Edge (LV3)

Homing Slide: Press ■ mid-combo to quickly close in on an enemy.
    → Air Slide (LV3) + Magnet (LV3)
    → Air Slide (LV3) + Sliding Dash (LV3)
    → Sliding Dash (LV3) + Magnera (LV1)

Teleport: Press ■ just as enemies attack to teleport behind them.
    → Chest in Turo Prison Block (Deep Space)

Doubleflight: Press O mid-jump to leap even higher into the air.
    → After the encounter with Captain Hook (Neverland)

Defense

Barrier: Press ■ to block attacks from all sides.
    → One of the default commands

Confuse Barrier: Press ■ to block attacks from all sides and confuse your attackers if successful.
    → Barrier (LV1) + Confuse (LV3)
    → Barrier (LV1) + Confusion Strike (LV3)

Focus Barrier: Press ■ to block attacks from all sides and restore some of the Focus Gauge if successful.
    → Bonus panel on Castle of Dreams Command Board

Renewal Barrier: Press ■ to block attacks from all sides and recover HP if successful.
    → Barrier (LV1) + Curaga (LV4)
    → Barrier (LV1) + Esuna (LV1)

Stop Barrier: Press ■ to block attacks from all sides and inflict Stop on your attackers if successful.
    → Barrier (LV1) + Stopga (LV3)

Reprisal

Counter Blast: Press X after succeeding with Barrier to shatter the barrier and send it flying into surrounding enemies.
    → Chest in Fountain Court (Radiant Garden)

Payback Surge: Press ■ after being knocked into the air by a powerful blow to counterattack.
    → Chest in Cottage Clearing (Dwarf Woodlands)
